A Snappy Easter

IMG_1223I can honestly say that the snappy events run by Tees Valley Music Service are absolutely fantastic. I can say that because my six year old son is still singing ‘Feliz Navidad’ four months after his Christmas performance at their Thornaby event.

So when I was invited to watch and take pictures at one of the latest events, the ‘Snappy Easter’ version I was really looking forward to it. Because of the sheer number of schools that take part each event has to be run geographically, often more than once in a day. I attended the Stockton event held at Thornaby Pavilion and there were about 15 schools attending the morning session. Each school had been given a list of songs to learn several weeks before hand and the event is an opportunity for the children to sing in a large choir format to an audience of proud Mums, Dads, Carers and anyone else who could get a ticket! I think the pictures below really tell the tale of what a great confidence and self esteem builder this is for the children involved. I know TVMS have events throughout the year already planned so please contact them if you want to avoid your pupils missing out on the fun they were clearly having below…
